    On January 31st, 2022, the Ministry of Education registered its first batch of students into the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) programme totalling 119 students from eight schools across Guyana.

  • 20 years later: persons can now apply for teaching positions online

    The Teaching Service Commission (TSC) launched its online application process for teachers on Tuesday, ending 20 years of lengthy manual paper applications. Teachers applying for junior and senior positions as well as teachers seeking transfers can access applications at www.tscapply.gov.gy.

  • 2017 NGSA commences today

    Pupils across the country will from today commence the 2017 sitting of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA). The scheduled assessment will be conducted today [Wednesday April 12] and tomorrow [Thursday April 13].

    The assessment is designed to determine where pupils are likely to undertake their secondary education.
