With schools set to reopen next Monday, Member of Parliament, Zamal Hussain, and Regional Chairman, Junior Basant today visited secondary schools across Region Six to assess preparations and ensure facilities are ready to welcome students and teachers for the new school term.
The schools visited thus far included:

Berbice Educational Institute
Berbice High School
Canje Secondary School
Lower Corentyne Secondary School
Port Mourant Secondary School
J.C. Chandisingh Secondary School
Corentyne Comprehensive Secondary School
With just days remaining before the new term begins, final preparations continue across the region to ensure schools are fully ready for Monday’s reopening.
