CPCE, UG get new computer labs

The Education Ministry on Thursday commissioned computer laboratories at the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) and the University of Guyana (UG).

The labs form part of the ministry’s Education Strategic Plan 2008-2013. The two facilities were commissioned by the Guyana Improving Teacher Education Project (GITEP). Built to the tune of more than $22.4 million for CPCE and more than $8.1 million for the School of Education and Humanities at UG, the project’s aim is to assist government in improving the education delivered to students by teachers.
