Best Wishes to the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) Candidates.

The Ministry of Education would like to extend best wishes to the more than 14,500 candidates sitting the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28, 2016.

Remember to keep a positive attitude throughout the assessment and try to stay relaxed. If you start to feel nervous take a few deep breaths. Pace yourself, don’t rush. Read the question and pay attention to all the details looking for key words in every question to help you to understand and answer what is being asked of you.

Candidates are also reminded of the following:

  • Be on time
  • Walk with your timetables
  • Read the instructions carefully
  • Write in your candidate number on all your answer sheets

Candidates are advised that all cellular phones and other electronic devices will be disallowed in the exam. We are therefore asking candidates to leave such devices at home.

Four subjects will be assessed, namely English Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Each subject will consist of two papers. English Language and Science will be administered on April 27, Mathematics and Social Studies on April 28, 2015.

Good luck
