Special Conditions
- Applicants who wish to study Electrical and Electronic Technology must have obtained at least a Grade 3 in Electrical/ Electronic Technology at the Technical Proficiency Level and at least a Grade 3 in Mathematics and Physics at the General Proficiency Level.
- Applicants who wish to study Law must have obtained at least a Grade 3 in Caribbean History.
- Applicants who wish to study any of the following subjects: Agricultural Science, Entrepreneurship, Physical Education & Sport, Tourism and Performing Arts at CAPE as a single subject do not need a pass at CSEC. Technical qualifications from a recognized institution in the selected subject area of study will be accepted for admission.
Application Forms may be obtained from this link: Sixth Form Application (142.71 kB) or from the Offices of the respective schools or Departments of Education and must, when completed, be submitted to the school of the applicant’s choice by August 18, 2014.
Birth Certificate and a recently taken passport-sized photograph must be submitted along with the Application Form. On receipt of CSEC results, the result slip must be submitted for verification.
Applicants must submit a character reference from the last school he/she attended if the CAPE subjects are to be pursued at another school. This must be submitted when verifying results.
Applicants will be considered for admission on a competitive basis. Only those applicants who fulfill the requirements set out above and whose grades indicate that they have the necessary capacity for an Advanced Level Course in those subjects will be selected.
