Eliminating Illeracy, Modernising Education & Strengthening Tolerance
(August 15, 2022) - On Friday, the Ministry of Education concluded a five-day workshop on, “Piloting of the Renewed Curriculum” for the Nursery level at Grand Coastal Hotel. At this workshop, fifty-seven master trainers were trained and they will be responsible for training nursery teachers across the country.
(August 12, 2022) – The Government of Guyana on Friday signed a US$44 million loan agreement with the World Bank as part of the Guyana Strengthening Human Capital through Education Project.
(August 9, 2022) – As the Ministry of Education continues to enhance the delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), ten (10) educators are now equipped with a Diploma in Heavy-Duty Equipment Maintenance.
(August 8, 2022) – The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®), the Ministry of Education and the Council for Technical Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) today hosted a pre-stakeholder meeting to begin the assessment of 34 secondary schools in Guyana to offer the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ).
