On Wednesday, the Ministry of Education met with the Guyana Teachers’ Union (GTU) again to give attention to the Teachers’ Appraisal Instrument that is being finalized.
The team met at the Ministry of Education’s 26 Brickdam Office. Representatives of the Union included the President, Mr. Mark Lyte, General Secretary, Ms. Coretta McDonald, Second Vice President Mr. Julian Cambridge, Regional Vice President (Demerara), Mr. Collis Nicholson, and Administrative Field Officer, Mr. Lancelot Baptiste.
The Ministry of Education was represented by Deputy Chief Education Officer (Development), Mrs. Volika Jaikishun, Assistant Chief Education Officer (Literacy), Ms. Samantha Williams, Chief Planning Officer, Ms. Nicola Johnson, Chief Schools Inspector, Mr. Saddam Hussain, and Human Resources Manager, Ms. Jacqueline Simon.
