Rooted in Legacy • Growing into the Future
As part of Mackenzie High School’s 80th Anniversary celebrations, we are planting with purpose!
This initiative is more than planting trees—it is about honouring our past, nurturing our present, and growing a greener future for generations to come.
Special thanks to MHS alumnus Mr. Nigel London for constructing the beautiful plant trough beneath our school sign, and to the Agricultural Department, Region 10, for donating 80 seedlings to make this initiative possible.
The citrus seedlings will be planted on our school farm, while the ornamental seedlings will beautify our school and be shared with neighbouring schools.
80 years of legacy. 80 trees for the future. One school. One legacy. Generations to come.
What we plant today will provide shade for generations tomorrow.
