  • Christ Church Secondary students to be placed at CPCE

    Following discussions between the Minister of Education Priya Manickchand and the parents of the now displaced students of the Christ Church Secondary School that was destroyed by fire last week, it was decided that the students will be placed at the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) at Turkeyen, Georgetown.

    (August 15, 2022) – Today, a contract was signed between the Ministry of Education and Gafsons Industries Limited for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems at the Guyana Learning Channel facilities located in Aishalton and Karasabai in Region Nine.

    (December 9, 2022) – The Ministry of Education today signed a contract for the completion of the Good Hope Secondary School on the East Coast of Demerara. The contract was awarded to DEEN + Partners using an Engineering, Procurement and Construction/Turnkey contract for US$2,607,879.
