    (June 27, 2022) – Some 70 electronic tablets were on Monday donated to eight schools by We Are GUTSY Inc.

  • 75 primary schools in training for Republic Bank ‘Five for Fun’ cricket

    The Republic Bank ‘Five for Fun’ Cricket programme is rolling closer to the county and country festival finals scheduled for early March 2023 as 75 primary schools from across the three counties continue training for the preliminary round of matches.

  • 8 schools to improve educational services through Diaspora initiative

    Scores of young people from several schools across the country will now have easier access to online curricula and learning as 70 tablets were donated by a Diaspora-based group called Guyanese United To Serve our Youth (GUTSY) Inc.

  • A courtesy call was made to the Honourable Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, by the Planet One Group.

    Speaking on behalf of the group was one of its Directors, Mr. Kuljit Ahluwalia. Planet One seeks to leverage their R&D and tech-based expertise towards nation-building; and have nurtured strategic partnerships with Governments tuned into this goal from countries in Asia, Africa, The Middle East, North America, and the Caribbean region.

  • Agreement signed between MOE and GTU for salary and non-salary benefits

    The Ministry of Education and the Guyana Teachers' Union (GTU) met today Wednesday, October 24, 2018 and signed an agreement on conditions of employment for Teachers/Teacher Educators as it relates to salaries and non-salary benefits for the period January 2016 to December 2018.
