(May 12, 2022) – Through the Ministry of Education’s Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) Unit, two students from President’s College have received their much-needed spectacles.

Renewed curriculum for nursery to be piloted in 103 schools

THE Ministry of Education has concluded a five-day workshop on “Piloting of the Renewed Curriculum” for the nursery level at Grand Coastal Hotel.
At this workshop, 57 master trainers were trained, and they will be responsible for training nursery teachers across the country.

SCCP launched at Westminster Secondary School

On Monday, parents of Grade 10 students of the Westminster Secondary School in Region Three along with their children were briefed on the plan to launch the Secondary Competency Certificate Programme (SCCP) at the school.

(March 21, 2020) – The Ministry of Education’s Special Education Needs (SEN) Unit on Monday afternoon in observance of Trisomy Awareness Month and World Down Syndrome Day hosted a virtual conversation. 

Since 2006, World Down Syndrome Day is observed each year on March 21 to create awareness. This year, the campaign theme is “What does inclusion mean”.
