Thirty (30) teenage mothers graduated from the Carnegie School of Home Economics (CSHE) on Friday as part of the Teenage Mothers’ Reintegration Programme executed by the Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
Today, 30 teen mothers graduated from the Carnegie School of Home Economics in the programmes Elementary Cookery and Cake Decorating. These courses that were offered form part of the reintegration programme being executed by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health.
About four hundred students yesterday graduated from the Carnegie School of Home Economics’ evening programme.

– 225 mothers have now been formally reintegrated
Eighty adolescent mothers will begin their stint in the Ministry of Education’s re-integration programme which gives adolescent mothers an opportunity to re-enter the formal school system or to acquire alternative education.
Eighty adolescent mothers are now able to change the courses of their lives after completing courses, provided at the Carnegie School of Home Economics (CSHE).

A healthy lifestyle is one of the main factors in reducing the risk of cancer. The Carnegie School of Home Economics (CSHE) on Tuesday, hosted a presentation where they displayed several healthy options including beverages reputed to have cancer-fighting ingredients. Among these were Soursop Leaf tea and Tumeric and Ginger tea.
The Carnegie School of Home Economics (CSHE) re-opened its Hibiscus Training Restaurant today for the new batch of students.
