MoE curriculum revision workshop targets senior Education Officers

Senior Ministry of Education (MoE) Officers from across the country are participating in a three-day consultative workshop to develop a framework for the revision of the school curriculum, an undertaking that has not been done since 1976.

Presidential Youth empowerment programme donates textbooks, laptops for its three pilot night schools

The Office of the Presidential Advisor on Youth Empowerment today, donated over 300 textbooks and 25 laptops to the North Ruimveldt, Sophia and Soesdyke Night Schools.

The donation is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education and the e-Government Agency to aid in the tutorial of the subjects for the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) examinations and to assist with research.

Region-wide training for CAPE’s Green Engineering teachers

The Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) says it will be undertaking a three-day training exercise to prepare teachers to deliver the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE)’s new Green Engineering Syllabus.
