The Cooperative Republic of Guyana Ministry of Education Request for Expressions of Interest - Printing of books and other support learning materials.
1.The Ministry of Education has an overall mandate to ensure that there is easy access to all books and other support learning materials by each member of the school system, particularly our school aged children. The execution of this mandate is critically important when taking into consideration the fact that there have been several studies indicating the disastrous effects of learning loss as a direct result of COVID-19. With this in mind, the Ministry is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from fully qualified businesses wishing to be included in Tenders for the printing of books and other support learning materials.
2.The objective is to shortlist qualified businesses (Printers) to submit bids, through a competitive process, in response to the needs of the Ministry for the printing of books and other support learning materials.
3.The Ministry of Education now invites eligible business (Printers) to submit Expressions of Interest for the provision of printing services relative to the supply & delivery of books and other support learning materials.
4.In the assessment of the submissions, consideration will be given to printers/service providers that have submitted the following basic information:
a.A brief description of similar assignments/works completed.
b.Copies of invoices (with accompanying receipts) and/or contracts verifying the supply and delivery of the commodity and/or service, as stated in (a).
c.A valid Business Registration, Guyana Revenue Authority and National Insurance Scheme compliances (both in the name of the business).
5.Interested printers/service providers may obtain the complete and detailed Expression of Interest at the following address on any business day from 08:30 hours to 15:30 hours:

6.Two hard copies of Expressions of Interest must be delivered to the address below on or before 09:00 hours on Thursday, April 22, 2021 and shall be clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Printing of books and other support learning materials”

7.Applications of EOI received after due date and time, or not conforming to the requirements mentioned above and, as laid down in the complete and detailed EOI document, are liable to be summarily rejected.
